The Importance of Cinema Lighting in Photojournalism

I had studied for a year or two at NYU just to take classes in lighting. And I ended up studying with Terry Path, who was the one who taught Martin Scorsese lighting. When I was making movies, I was doing film work as a, you know, like a sideline where I could get any kind of freelance work back then. So I took those experiences with that kind of lighting, lots of hard tungsten lights and would do all of the features assignments.
