Reduplication Is a Fun Phonic Process
The simplest kind of reduplication is simply to repeat the word Indonesian and use this to mark plural nouns. Once you've got the patterns on San de, you can do all sorts of things. You can shift and accent around. If it's a tonal language, you might shift tones. And you might reduce the vowel of the reduplicated syllable either in the copy or the original.
