The Anarchists Are More Marxist Than Marxists
Anarchists were socialists who believed that you absolutely needed to abolish the state from the get-go for any kind of real socialism to happen. The anarchists saw all political parties as mainly vehicles for middle class and aristocratic intellectuals, to advance their own interests in the name of the people. But what's really interesting about the anarchists is just how not popular they were in Russia. Asides for a couple of years around the 1905 attempted revolution, anarchism was non-existent until the revolutions of 1917.
