I think about artificial intelligence in that same way, which is like building robots, put some mirror to us humans. When AI system learns to play chess better than humans, you start to let go of this idea that humans are special because of intelligence. It's something else. Maybe the flame of human consciousness. The capacity to feel deeply to both suffer and to love all those things. And it's somehow AI to me toput some mirror to that. You have to bring it up with these swarm bots crawling in the surface of your cocoon in space. That would be surreal to be able to interact in some way with the thing that's out there on another surface. Direct connection.
