Mytho-History in the Old Testament
Many Old Testament commentators don't use the expression mytho-history, which derives from Torquil Diakobson. J.I. Packer thinks that these are real events, but they have been dramatized in a way that doesn't require us to interpret them literally. Gordon Wenham talks about proto-history for Genesis 1 to 11.
