Is Propofol a Good Antidepressant for Myoclonus?
Propofol and thiopenthal are kind of in the same category in terms of myocardial depressants. Propofol can actually cause significant myoclonus. It doesn't happen that often when it does it, it's quite profound. And it does happen more frequently than thiopenthal. The barbituids have been phasing out questions about them just because we don't use them so often.
