People are really good at avoiding things that make us uncomfortable. If you, if you can avoid pain, by all means, do it. But there's kind of like a major caviot to that, which is that in the situations that we're king about, you want to make sure that you're not simultaneously avoiding something that you really care about. You say that ignoring your emotions is like ignoring the check engine lat maly, but the truth is a lot of us drive around with that light on for months. And that kind of human nature as well.
