The Trump Ethnography of the Appalachian Region
The far West is a very fecan combination. It took that utopian idea that we can create a better society and should, but it merged it with this greater Appalachian emphasis on individual self actualization. And also in any way you look at it has all of its preferences, its political voting patterns, its attitudes towards everything from gay marriage to marijuana legalization. Politically, it's not that reliable partisan. It's currently in the red coalition, but it's a weak red state partner because it lacks. That doesn't have that same strong evangelical base that you have in greater appellation in the deep South.
