I was thinking about some of your arguments against urina kernels. Some of it comes down to values in the philosophy there, not so much denying experimentation. I think we've retreated as an industry a bit. Maybe this is too optimistic from the just restarted mentality to one of understanding or knowing that we need to build more durable and robust systems. That's something that seems to be absent from the unit kernel philosophy. And anyone that develops embedded software would tell you that debugability is tricky.
