The Pros and Cons of Rose's Trial
Aileen B. Klutz was one of very few women attorneys in Michigan in the 1930s. She was well known within the Detroit legal community as taking on these cases that no one else would try and winning. The media had painted a salacious picture during Rose's trial of murderous intentions and insurance scams. There were actually some pretty reasonable explanations from the original trial that suggested a very different story.
