Right-wingers are trying to win over socially conservative but economically liberal members of labor unions. CNN's John Sutter says the move is strategic and a classic way for right wing parties to make friends with people they don't have much in common with now. He says if you want to flip a group, you start by buttering them up. "Start by trying to find something in common," he says.
