In Seattle, the markers of affluence look and feel more earthy or organic. There's just this Seattle way about it. For a second, I would say that especially with even jocal white women of affluence. This also is showing up with some like Mormon women, sometimes in homeschooling culture. Like you know, maybe you can have this life where there's a prosperity gospel kind of curation of what sort of comfort looks like if you pray hard enough and make the right choices.
