The Moon Treaty Amendment

In 1976 they came out with the registration convention that says anything you launch into space and put into orbit needs to be registered. The moon treaty amendment in 1979 was to protect the things that we've put on the moon so far. Since then we've seen more and more bilateral agreements where there are the agreements between the u.s. and other celestial bodies.
