Asteroids of This Size Aren't on a Path That Threatens Earth, You Know?
Nancy chibea told me, of the ones like that that we know about and have tracked, none are on a path that would threaten earth in like, the next hundred years. More than half of the ones that size that scientists think should be out there haven't been found and identified and tracked yet. And that's why that's such a priority for planetary defence. Keep in mind, compared to planets or moons, asteroids are really, really small. It's just hard to spot them.
