What the Heck Is Going on With Liracium and ATM?

It appears that if you detonate harmonium against trellium, it creates some small amount of ATM as a byproduct. We later find out that it also creates a tiny bit of Liracium as well, which wax inhales and is collected to give to Wayne. So despite the fact that we've been saying that harmonium can't be separated, we also have clear example that that is not correct. The potential destruction from accidentally or misusing that ability is, you know, planet level destroying possible.
