The Materialistic Attitude of Human Beings

In Giotto's work, for example, there is no longer a representation of what he felt to be the truth, but everything is painted only out of external tradition. In Raphael's disputea we can see how in the basic tones from bottom to top is indeed reproduced that experience which a person has when they rise into the higher worlds. One who knows the spiritual truths knows that behind the physical facts there is something else. They know that why people are materialists today is that they are under external materialistic influences.
