Personalization vs Relevance?

The difference between personalization and relevance is like such a, i feel like a samantics at this point. So where are people like, in the considerate bucket? Where do you feel like people are missing the mark? I think we can get overly chummy sometimes. And there's nothing wrong with making friends with clients and people at work. It comes back to an endpoint of bettering the relationship.
