Introduction

When you go and you read a lot of these stories in the Old Testament, you figure out pretty quickly that morally stuff just wasn't quite the same all the time. It's a very different context. Even taking that into account, it's pretty easy to be like, oh, I think I know what I'm supposed to do with that as I read it today. And maybe Esther chapter two is one of those passages that is meant to remind us that it doesn't always work like that in the Bible.
