What's the Difference Between Liberalism and Christian Liberalism?
J. Ross Stevenson was the person that presented the plan of union at the 1920 General Assembly. And this is what outraged J. Ross of Machon when the committee put forth this proposal, there was no debate allowed. It goes into the writing of Christian liberalism. He believes the Presbyterian church has become a machine. The adjectives he used uses in describing Machon are so pejorative, they're so out.
