gerard, how did you end up as an economist in the intelligence community? As i noted earlier, you are the first guest we've had on the podcast that has worked at the c i a. So i'm curious as to how you got there. In two thousand nine, those who are or old enough to remember, there was not many jobs in new york especially. And so kind of on a lark, i looked up c i a because i, i don't know why, but always thought it might be interesting.
