How Do You Resolve the Free Energy Principle?
The free energy principle is partly about, you know, updating your priors and constructing probability distributions that minimize your surprise. But but i can, i can see that there could be both negative and positive aspects to surprise rigt. And so it sems like this tis a symmetry to surprise. T can be positive or negative. We are seeking for information again. So what that means in virtue of the fact that they can depgenerative models of the consequences of action, will always choose those actions that minimize their expected surprise.
