WebAssembly: The Future of Computing

Docker co-founder Solomon Heijks wrote that if WebAssembly existed in 2008, he wouldn't have needed to create Docker. We're talking about seconds to start up a container with WebAssembly; Lambda functions are one of the fastest things you can do on AWS. It's those areas where you need to be able to scale down to zero and up to tens of thousands. That's really what we're excited about because that's the solution to the problem that we set out to solve.
