ABX01 - A Novel Immunotherapy to Treat Gram Negative Infections
A novel immunotherapy to treat gram negative infections developed by Centari therapeutics called ABX01. This is still in the molecule number and letter phase, but very, very excited. And they looked at this using knockout mice so that neutropenic mice and they saw about a two log drop in bacterial colony forming units alone. They added in the antibody response and they got an additional three log kill. It's remniscent of some of the data we talked about in early ECMA episodes from a couple of years ago about using these immunotherapies as adjunct agents for bacteremia.
