In Brazil everybody just runs like you have 1500 people running they all run as part of the party and the number of votes each party gets determines how many seats seats in Congress each party has. When he came in fifth place he became the first alternate because his party unexpectedly only got four and not five seats. David was very physically imposing so nobody was ever going to physically intimidate David, Monica says. He kind of stepped forward at that moment with this incredible bombast and this like strength but also like admitting he was a little bit scared," she adds.
