The Good and the Bad of the American Public School System

CNN's John Sutter asks whether there is a conspiracy to improve the U.S. public school system. He suggests 12 wealthy people get together and agree on what needs to be done. They don't tell anybody because that could mobilize teachers unions, he says. It might involve MOOCs, online education, political action, it might involve some things that were not so attractive,. planting stories in the media about bad things the public school system does. But if I achieve the result that I want, things would be transformative and better said Sutter.
