The Tree Only Falls if an Observer Is There to See It

The number of people who think the copenhagen interpretation is right has been rapidly dwindling. If you take a more purist approach and follow the mathematics through to the end, the con on is pretty hard to get your head around. So are there any solutions to this problem? I feel that we can't just say, the tree only falls if an observer is there to see it. But some of these solutions involve changing the physics quite a lot - which is a bit of a fudge.
