Ferrite - Is There a Clipping Protection?
Clip clipping is where the audio just gets too loud and starts distorting. Not everyone wants to use auto leveling because a lot of people who are more experienced there, this is want to have fine control over it. So you can say normalize if clipping and it will look at your project as a whole. If there's no clipping anywhere in the project, it will leave it completely untouched. But if there is clipping, it will reduce the volume to prevent that. And then there's another option, which isnormalize always, which will do a part of normalization regardless of whether there's clipping or not.
