The Infinite Regress - Is There a Cause for It?
If everything were merely contingent, how would we explain that it exists? We can't. Because in itself it's merely contingent. There's no reason why it has to exist. But if you hypothesise including us, including us, and if you but if you hypothesize a necessary existence, then what you're hypothesising is something that needs no cause in order to exist. And the proof for the existence of god is real. It's actually quite simple. The world is just one big contingent thing.
