I was raised Jewish. The only two things I knew about Jesus prior to beginning a relationship with him was that I was not supposed to believe in him. And that we use his name as a cussword. That was the extent of my Jesus knowledge until age 17. Then it was young life where you got involved and came to a very different understanding. But yeah, that doesn't buy fire for sure.
