How to Overtake a Bus
The first bus service in London began in 1829, pulled by a horse. The iconic double decabuss was introduced in London in 1956. Even today some areas still have a limited bus service or no bus service at all. Be very careful when overtaking a bus because pedestrians do have a habit of stepping out from in front of the bus. And cyclists and buses are not well matched so be extra careful if you're undertaking them.
