Tag Questions and Stress in Tag Questions

tag questions are when you have a statement for example we've met before and a little question after that which is just made up of the auxiliary and the pronoun. We use tag questions really in two ways to get the other person to agree with us so for example we's met before haven't we and I want you to say yes we have. The other way we use tag questions is when we really don't know the answer and we want to check something such as maybe I'm not sure if we've meeting before or did we meet last year at that conference perhaps.
