Evolutionarily Costous to Have a Brain That Can Understand the Secrets of the Universe
Darwin's idea that whatever the ultimate nature of reality is, it should seem really weird and counter intuitive to us. Developing a brain advanced enough to understand new concepts is costly in evolution. Andwe wouldn't have evolved it if it didn't help in any way. If some cave woman spent too much time pondering what was out there beyond all the stars that she could see or sub atomic particles,. she might not have noticed the tiger that snuck up behind her and gone clean right into the jean pool.
