Spengler tried to impose upon germany something resembling italian fasism. And that is why he also bit with politics and tried to exert some influence in making his theory also agreeable or acceptable for contemporary conservative politicians. Spengleri strongly believe, that pangle first is convinced about the decline of the west and the unavoidability of caesarism. We can't escape that, so somehow we have to deal with it and make the best out of it instead of saying, i will now write thousand, thousand, 200 pages s of a book in order to justify my political opinion.
