In Vivo NK Cells After LPS Challenge

The researchers used an adaptive transfer model where naive congenital NK cells were transferred into post endotoxic mic mice. They then explored the memory of these NK cells after LPS challenge. And so it was a way to in vivo show what they had demonstrated in vitro within the environment of the spleen themselves. So I think that really showed that okay, that in the surrounding environment, well, this was interesting because I assumed that the spleen environment would dampen the ability of the endogenous cells to respond. But they showed here inivo that it was fine.
