The Hunnish Language - The History of the Huns
The huns are still barbarians par excellence, but i would argue that we've just absorbed prejudices of the ancient romans. They were not illiterate culture, and as a result, left behind no written records. We don't even know what the hunnish language was. Their voice is almost totally missing from the historical record,. which means that the observations and sometimes slanders of their enemies have filled the void. When we come back, we'll see how the fates of these two empires quickly became entwined.
