The Influence of the Renfair on the Counterculture
The first one to happen outside of California was the Minnesota Renaissance Festival in 1971. Penn and Teller performed their first ever show together at the Renfair in Minnesota, which is pretty fun. So many things from the Renfair, in this crucial time and place, is influencing the counterculture as we know it.
