Politicians love to scare the wits out of people by talking about nuclear terrorism. Osama bin laden said he wanted to use such weapons if he could get them. Most experts agree that acquiring materials and knowledge for building either weapon is far beyond the reach of most, if not all terrorists. Can you imagine somebody like the shoe bomber, or these idiots who can't even light a fuse and blow themselves up, doing anything remotely like this?
