The Chaos of Knowledge Accumulation

I think we have a related problem which is more perhaps with this more exploratory of field-based type of areas. And here I'm thinking about polyontology and all those folks that study dinosaurs. We have been so obsessed with naming and discovering that we forgot about the relationships of our discoveries with each other. Because the bias is towards, oh my God, I need to find a new dinosaur.
