Janae: We haven't really talked much about reading on the show yet. Janay reminds us to ask ourselves, what why have we chosen a particular reading? Like what's the purpose of it? Where does it fit in the lesson? What are students supposed to even get from it? And then sharing that why with the students making it transparent so they know this reading matters and how it fits into the lesson.
