The Importance of Bandwidth in History
In 1773, the Tea Party is a resistance action against what white American colonists fell as an improper imposition of the monopoly of tea. In that same year, enslaved people in Massachusetts began petitioning for freedom to the Massachusetts government. These resistance actions by white colonists and by black colonists were happening in the same year at the same time. It does not take a whole lot of time to tell these stories that were happening simultaneously in American history.
