The Rise of Print Capitalism in China
The rise of a print capitalism, I would argue, is a signature moment for the rise of a modern sense of world history in China. But at the same time, you can see I'm struggling a little bit, right, dealing with the legacy issue. So it's a complicated process. And in this process, I'm not giving up on the influence of traditional Chinese historiography and neo-confucianism. The old way of writing history became sort of obsolete.
