NSA officials are talking to lawmakers about an amendment that would prevent government agencies from tracking U.S. citizens without a search warrant. The Transportation Security Administration, or TSA, has renewed regulations that would require operators of gas pipelines to certify their cybersecurity measures. Air Force Lieutenant General Timothy Hawk sailed through his nomination hearings and because no lawmakers have objected to his taking the job, the nomination has been automatically sent to the full Senate.
