The Ecology of Ideas
Bateson talks about seeing the problems in a, what I would call ecological or environmental or relational way. He doesn't make a distinction between culture and nature, really. He's looking for a kind of a way to talk about them on a continuum. The ecology of ideas, the ecology of mind is the way Bateson talks about it.
