We almost always recommend trying to do multiple things rather than just get a textbook, because you're probably not going to. Don't get me wrong, textbooks are great. Like publishers spend a lot of money making sure that these things will bring you up to a certain level. But it's the boredom factor that gets most people. So buy yourself an Anki Flash Deck card. Get yourself some songs to listen to. Get yourself a couple movies to watch and just move your way around. And when you get bored with the textbook, move on to the flashcards. When you're bored of that, go back and flip around. Spend 10 or 20 minutes doing each. You don't burn
