I like to think that the notion that electric bikes are somehow cheating is kind of like fading away a little bit. They're actually good. I'm less interested in electric bikes on how people already active cyclists engage a bit. It's much more how do electric bikes enable people who've never cycled or are not cycling, or often who are older and think that cycling is no longer for them. The obvious barrier to that is electric bikes are more expensive but there are things like the bike to work scheme that can help enable people access to them.
