What Can I Afford Concot for My House?
You can afford more if you are willing to spend every dollar you have and have a zero % savings rate. You're going to get very different advice based on incentives, which drive people's behavior. The marginal utility of a fork was thrown at us a long time ago by the happy philosopher. We don't want to live in a cardboard house. Our goal is not to be in the biggest house that we can afford.
