What Is a Memory?
When you have an experience, a pattern of electrical activity lights up your neurons. So something that actually happens to you breaks down into electrical impulses in the frame. Our memory is created by neurons connecting through synapses. When those neurons become active together, the junction, or the synaps between those neurons gets stronger or weaker in a pattern. And that's the memory.
