Is Style Transfer a Bad Idea?

I wonder if part of this relates to like we see an image and to us, that is a representation of a 3D thing. Like our mind is already thinking about what the situation would be like in the world as opposed to you hand an image to a computer that computer says is a 2D image. It's still beyond that, right? Because to a certain point, even if you can show a key, a bad drawing of something and then you can link it to the actual real world object or presentation. I think they like say was like style transfer, like you can say take like a very like photo realistic picture and turn it into a cartoon. Style transfer is my pet pee
