The Importance of Business Support in a Recession
In a normal recession, if you give everyone cash they'll go out to dinner. But that's not going to happen this time because businesses are being forcibly told to shut down. The economy before this was quite healthy and the matches between employers and employees were efficient. We have this bolt from the blue that shuts everything down for several months. If we don't stand, if we don't step in to help businesses, then all of these links break down. And if this goes on long enough, they won't reform.
