How to Deal With Negative Emotions in Children
"We were abused. And it definitely was over the top and definitely veered into abuse at times," she says. "It's amazing to me how these different strategies, you know, different ways of thinking about children ... affirming their emotions can help them move through those emotions rather than trying to like clamp down on it." She adds that her daughter is so emotionally intelligent and understanding when she looks at her baby doll crying.
